News Ticker Configuration

The news ticker will appear at the top of all the pages throughout Coruson and provide news updates and information that the Administrator can broadcast to all users. This can be used for system updates and announcements. For example to broadcast there is an audit upcoming and for all users to read and acknowledge outstanding documents.

 

The news ticker information can be assigned different priorities: High = Red, Medium = Orange, Low = Blue.

The users can also pause and scroll through the news ticker using the controls on the right hand side.

To add and configure the news ticker:

1. Click on the menu icon at the top. 
2. Select Administration.
3. Select Customisation.
4. Select News Ticker.
5. Select the + add  icon on the top right hand side.
6. From here you can add the headline, body and importance of the news ticker information.
7. From the news ticker menu you can also select the red cross to delete the item.
