The system has been improved to prevent duplicate audits when breaking away individual audits from scheduled audit series.

1. Understanding the previous issue

Previously, a limitation in the interface allowed users to accidentally create duplicate audits. When you confirmed the action to separate an audit from its scheduled series, it was possible to re-trigger the same action by closing and reopening the confirmation prompt, resulting in unintended duplicate entries.

2. Recognising the improvements

Two key improvements have been implemented to enhance your experience:

• Loading overlay — after you click OK to break out an individual audit, a message displays "Please wait while your Audit is scheduled..." to prevent accidental double submissions
• Duplicate detection — if the same audit already exists or is being created, an error bar appears stating "This audit already exists or is being created by another user"

These improvements ensure that breaking an audit away from a scheduled series creates only one individual audit, preventing duplicate records and maintaining data accuracy.
