How or when would we be able to edit a control type?
Hi Jeni,
They can be edited by selecting a Risk Event from the Controls Register, Threats and Consequences can then be added, subtracted, evaluated, and edited at any time increasing the comprehensiveness of Bow Tie model for the Project. Changes are recorded in the History tab for traceability.
If you have a specify Risk Project in mind, please do not hesitate to contact us, via telephone or by raising a ticket and we will be happy to advise on a specific example
Hi Sean,
What I am attempting to figure out, and don't believe it is possible is to change the control item type - we are in the process of building several controls - but because of backlog in other areas we are adding them as custom controls. We would then need to change these to a Standard at a later date. Is this at all possible without having to completely rebuild the control?
Hi Jeni,
Many thanks for the Further information, I have produced a short guide on how this can be functionality can be amended: - Change Control Type.docx
