Accessing the Document Management Section
To access the Document Management section:
1. Click the menu icon at the top left-hand corner of the screen
2. Click "Documents"
Revising a Document
To perform a revision against an active document:
1. Click on the "Number" value to open the relevant document record
2. Click on the icon of a white arrow within a blue square - located on the top right-hand side of the document record - and select "Revise" from the drop-down menu that appears
3. On the "Revise" window, change the title of the document record if required. Note: This is a mandatory field and must be populated
4. Check the box labelled "Base the new draft on a copy of the active file(s)" if you wish to use the attachment associated to the record. Unchecking this box will allow you to select another attachment or URL address
5. Click "Revise" when finished
At this point, the document record will be in a draft state again. You can then set up the approval and activate once completed.
