Configuring the News Ticker

Who is this article for?

 Users responsible for managing reports.

 Admin access to edit the ticker must be assigned.

The news ticker will appear at the top of all the pages throughout Coruson and provide news updates and information that the Administrator can broadcast to all users.

This can be used for system updates, announcements, and general feedback.

Example: You can broadcast upcoming audits to encourage users to complete actions and acknowledge documents.

News Ticker Priorities

The news ticker information can be assigned different priorities with associated colour codes:

• High: Red
• Medium: Orange
• Low: Blue

Adding Items to the News Ticker

1. Open the   Navigation menu.
2. Click Administration, and then Customisation.
3. Click News Ticker.
4. Select the   add button.
5. Enter the headline, body text, importance and URL.

6. Click Add.
