Release 57.5.0.0
When a team member is archived, the system now ensures only active work is reassigned, keeping completed tasks credited to the original owner for accurate audit records.
Understanding why this change was made
When a team member is archived, their open work is automatically handed over to a colleague. Previously, this handover was too broad — it also picked up work that was already finished, causing completed tasks to be reassigned to someone who never actually worked on them.
In a few real cases, this meant closed reports showed tasks as being handled by the wrong person — a real concern for organisations that rely on accurate records for audits or regulators.
Reviewing what has changed
The system now checks whether work is actually still active before handing it over.

We have also fixed a gap specifically for Accept/Reject tasks — these were not being recognised as finished once accepted or rejected, so they were incorrectly reassigned too. That is now resolved.
Understanding what this means for you
- Accurate records — completed work stays credited to the person who did it
- Less confusion — replacements will not see old, already-finished tasks
- Audit-ready — history reflects what actually happened, even after staff changes
- No change needed on your end — active work is still handed over automatically, as before
Note: This applies to the Reporting module only (reports, tasks, stages, Accept/Reject tasks). There is no change to Audits or Documents.
