Access keys for Galileo are required.
Galileo is a Coruson data warehouse. It has been designed to surface the data in ways that help to provide good performance on complex queries and expose related data in an efficient manner.
Galileo is available at no additional cost to your existing Coruson contract, however there are some usage limits outlined at Galileo Responses & Usage Limits.
In order to access Galileo you will require:
- Data warehouse URL
- Access keys
This article outlines the steps to request your access keys.
Already got your keys? Visit How to Connect to Galileo Using Microsoft Power BI or How to Set-up the Galileo Base Reporting Pack to get started!
1. About Access Keys
The data warehouse URL usually comes in the form of https://tenantName.ideagendata.com/odata/ but may vary depending on configuration.
When you register for Galileo you will receive two access keys however you only need one of these keys to connect. We recommend that you use one key for your business intelligence and retain the second key in a safe place. If the in-use key becomes compromised (for example, if a member of staff with access to the key leaves the business) then you can then rotate your business intelligence systems to use the second key and then contact Ideagen Support to disable the compromised key.
2. Request Access Keys
Access keys will be allocated by your account manager. To request the access keys please complete the form located at Ideagen.com.
In your request please confirm:
- Name
- Company
- Coruson Tenant URL
- Galileo requirements
