How to Configure Tabular Security

System Wide Administrator permissions required.
Tabular security allows Coruson administrators to control what tabs users can access in the Reporting module.
This means users are focused on the tabs relevant to their job and a greater level of confidentiality can be achieved by the investigation process.
Example: End users can submit a report and continue to access the report record but they are unable to see the Workflow or Evaluation tabs. Instead, these tabs can only be accessed by the investigation team responsible for completing actions.

1. Create Tabular Security Permission Set

- Click on the Navigation menu.
- Click on Administration.
- Click People & Security.
- Click Permission Sets.
- Select the Add icon on the top right hand side of the screen.
- Enter the required information:

- Title: A clear and concise title of the set.
- Type: Set the type to Reporting Tabular Access.
- Description: A clear description on the purpose of the set.
Important Note: The type field selected when creating the permission set controls what set of permissions are available. Once set it cannot be changed.
- Click Create.
2. Enable Tabs on Permission Set
The type field selected when creating the permission set controls what set of permissions are available.
Example: If you select the Report module then you'll see the reporting permissions. If you select Forms then you'll see the permissions for form design and management.
To assign the permissions:
- Open the group.
- Go the Permissions tab.
- Locate the Report Tabs View Control section.
- Toggle on the tabs required.
Note: The permissions are controlled by an access toggle control. Setting the toggle to Yes will give the user access to the tab meanwhile setting the toggle to No will mean the user cannot see the tab.
3. Configure the Form
- Click on the Navigation menu.
- Click on Administration.
- Click Reporting.
- Click Forms.
- Open the form needing configured.
- Open the Configuration tab.
- Browse to a Tabular Access section.
- Configure the access levels by selecting the Permission Sets for each role.
- Toggle the Tabular Access to on.
